So today i was chewing gum and i went to change pieces and i had this cool idea. Why chew my gum when i can pt in on the roof of my mouth and just suck the flavor out. if i buy gum i get two types: 1. the flavor i dislike. and 2. the flavor i like. And since i go threw about a pack of trident layers in two weeks (one week if i decide to share), i buy a kind i dislike like that way when i run out of the flavor i like i have the one i dislike and instead of chewing it, i put it on the roof of my mouth and suck on it. I recommend this during test taking if your in school or if your at working. and if you do get the urge to chew don't. fold it with your tongue and put it back to the roof of your mouth.

Ok that doesn't really make much sense to me.. However, when I'm in heavy restricting mode, when the piece I'm on loses flavor, instead of popping a new piece, to save calories I dip it in some splenda.

I don't think it actually makes you crave. Maybe if your cravings are triggered by flavors or whatever. Some people think aspartame makes you crave sugar. Gum is supposed to make you hungry though, bacause it causes you to salivate, which tells your stomach that food is on the way. So your stomach produces gastrointestianal juices; and when the food never comes, your stomach rumbles.
